AutoZone Managers Win Conditional Cert. In OT Suit

Law360, New York (May 25, 2011, 2:24 PM EDT) -- An Arizona federal judge on Tuesday conditionally certified a class of store managers who allege that auto parts retail chain AutoZone Inc. improperly classified them as exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act's overtime pay requirements.

U.S. District Judge Frederick J. Martone conditionally certified an opt-in class comprised of all AutoZone store managers employed anywhere in the U.S. except California between July 16, 2007, and July 16, 2010.
