AUO Loses Bid To Nix Evidence In Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (May 25, 2011, 7:32 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge refused Tuesday to suppress evidence in the government's price-fixing case against AU Optronics Corp. despite the flat-screen panel maker's claims that investigators lacked probable cause to search its Houston offices.

U.S. District Judge Susan Illston rejected several challenges from AUO and its U.S. unit to the affidavit the government submitted in support of its request for a search warrant for the Houston location.
