Tribune Execs Cleared To File Indemnity Claims

Law360, Wilmington (May 25, 2011, 5:39 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge gave a host of former Tribune Co. directors and officers the green light Wednesday to file claims for the media giant to cover costs and liability that may arise from unsecured creditors’ lawsuits against management.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin J. Carey allowed the 10 executives to file late proofs of claim for indemnity, reimbursement and contribution in connection with defending against the suits.
