Texas Senate OKs Fracking Chemical Disclosure Bill

Law360, New York (May 26, 2011, 3:42 PM EDT) -- The Texas Senate passed a bill Wednesday that requires drilling companies to publicly disclose the chemical contents of fluids used in hydraulic fracturing.

If the Texas House of Representatives approves the Senate's amendments to the measure, Texas would become one of the first states in the country to demand disclosure of fracking chemicals.
