DOC Slaps Duties Up To 83% On Chinese Flooring Imports

Law360, New York (May 27, 2011, 5:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Thursday it had preliminarily determined that multilayered wood flooring from China is being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value and assigned preliminary dumping duties.

Commerce's International Trade Administration preliminarily assessed a countrywide weighted-average dumping margin of 82.65 percent, and a margin of 10.88 percent for those companies that qualified for a separate rate, it said in a Federal Register notice.
