Cisco Counterfeiter Hit With Forfeiture Order

Law360, New York (May 27, 2011, 3:11 PM EDT) -- A Virginia federal jury on Thursday said a defendant convicted of importing and selling counterfeit computer equipment she claimed was made by Cisco Systems Inc. must forfeit luxury cars, homes and seven bank accounts containing more than $1.6 million.

The verdict by the Alexandria, Va., jury came just two days after the same panel convicted Chun-Yu Zhao on one count of conspiracy and 15 other counts, including importation fraud, trafficking in counterfeit goods and labels, false statements to law enforcement, false statements in naturalization, and money...
