Antitrust Suit Over Auto Repo Technology Survives

Law360, Los Angeles (May 31, 2011, 3:51 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday rejected efforts by Recovery Database Network Inc. and Digital Recognition Network Inc. to dismiss an antitrust suit brought by auto repossession technology competitors alleging the companies colluded to force them out of the business.

U.S. District Judge Royal Ferguson ruled that MVConnect LLC and Recovery Manager Pro LLC had adequately pled federal claims of monopolization and federal and state claims of conspiracy to restrain trade against the defendants.
