Chinese Tire Importer Fights US Dumping Duties

Law360, Washington (May 31, 2011, 7:00 PM EDT) -- OTR Wheel Engineering Inc. filed a complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Thursday asking for a ruling that its imported tires are outside the scope of anti-dumping and countervailing duties imposed by the U.S. Department of Commerce on Chinese tires in April.

OTR, an importer of pneumatic off-the-road tires from China, is specifically challenging the results of Commerce’s anti-dumping duty review covering certain off-the-road tires that were published in April.
