Military Software Maker Tries To Block Ex-VP's New Co.

Law360, New York (May 31, 2011, 7:51 PM EDT) -- Military aircraft software developer ForceX Inc. on Tuesday asked a Virginia federal court for a preliminary injunction in its trade secrets suit against an executive who allegedly quit and started a direct competitor in violation of a noncompete pact.

Tennessee-based ForceX asked the court to stop former vice president Kelly McDougall and his new company Technology Fusion LLC from allegedly using misappropriated trade secrets to compete against ForceX. The plaintiff also requested a temporary restraining order and expedited discovery.
