Lundbeck Settles Antitrust Suit Over Infant Heart Drugs

Law360, New York (June 7, 2011, 6:06 PM EDT) -- Lundbeck Inc. said Monday it had settled a proposed antitrust class action brought by a group of hospitals alleging the company set monopoly prices on drugs used to treat heart defects in premature babies.

Lundbeck and the plaintiffs — including New York's St. Barnabas Hospital Inc., the Community Medical Center Healthcare System of Scranton, Penn., and the Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, Conn. — said in a court filing they had reached a settlement and asked the court to dismiss the action, which did so...
