Lawyer Dad Settles SEC Insider Trading Suit

Law360, New York (June 8, 2011, 2:57 PM EDT) -- A California personal injury attorney must pay $23,800 to settle a suit by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission accusing him of trading on inside information he stole from his daughter, a lawyer working on Abbott Laboratories' $2.8 billion acquisition of Advanced Medical Optics Inc.
