FedEx, UPS Dodge Shipping Consultant Antitrust Suit

Law360, New York (June 8, 2011, 9:21 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge has dismissed antitrust claims accusing FedEx Corp. and United Parcel Service Inc. of conspiring to refuse to work with consultants who negotiate lower rates for shippers, according to an order made available Wednesday.

U.S. District Judge Margaret M. Morrow filed the order on May 27, giving the plaintiff, AFMS LLC, leave to amend its claims, according to the plaintiff's attorney Maxwell M. Blecher of Blecher and Collins PC. The order was posted Wednesday.
