Fed. Circ. Won't Nix DOJ Contract Award To Monster

Law360, New York (June 9, 2011, 8:02 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Thursday that the government properly awarded a recruiting and staffing system contract to Monster Government Solutions LLC, rejecting losing bidder Allied Technology Group Inc.'s claims that Monster failed to meet all of the bid's requirements.

In a 2-1 decision written by Circuit Judge Richard Linn, the panel affirmed the U.S. Court of Federal Claims' determination that the U.S. Department of Justice had a reasonable basis for choosing Monster's $3.2 million proposal over Allied's competing $7 million offer for a system that enabled...
