Symbol Technologies Sues Mobile Knowledge Over Alleged Counterfeits

Law360, New York (November 7, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Computing peripheral maker Symbol Technologies, Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Mobile Knowledge Group for trademark, trade dress, copyright and design patent violations.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, alleges that MKG is “offering for sale counterfeit Symbol spare parts and misusing copyrighted material on its website to market those counterfeit spare parts to customers,” Symbol said in a statement.
