Edwards Prosecutor Quits, Alston & Bird Atty Up For Role

Law360, New York (June 10, 2011, 6:47 PM EDT) -- The stalled nomination of Alston & Bird LLP partner Thomas G. Walker to become a U.S. attorney in North Carolina got a jump-start Friday after George E.B. Holding, who indicted former presidential hopeful John Edwards early this month, said he would resign.
