CVS, Sam's Club, Others Sued Over Product Data IP

By Leigh Kamping-Carder (June 13, 2011, 1:43 PM EDT) -- Lodsys LLC sued CVS Caremark Corp., Sam's Club and others in Texas on Friday, claiming they infringed two patents for technology that allows companies and users to electronically share product information.

Marshall, Texas-based Lodsys claims the defendants infringe U.S. Patent Numbers 5,999,908 and 7,222,078 with the customer feedback, online survey and live interactive chat features on their websites.
