Hose Manufacturers Face Antitrust Class Action

Law360, New York (May 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A proposed class action lawsuit has been filed against a number of marine hose manufacturers for allegedly fixing prices, rigging bids and allocating markets for marine hoses sold in the United States.

The suit, which comes just two and a half weeks after the U.S. Department of Justice arrested eight executives as part of a worldwide crackdown on marine hose price-fixing, was brought Thursday by Shipyard Supply LLC in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
