ITC Keeps Duties On Chinese Pencils Intact

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 5:43 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission determined Monday that revoking anti-dumping duties on pencils from China would result in a recurrence of material injury to the domestic industry.

All six commissioners voted to keep the duties in place, and the ITC's final report on the review will be released in July.

The ITC instituted a five-year sunset review of the duties in November, and voted to expedite the review in February.
