Ohio County Judge Convicted In Corruption Probe

Law360, New York (June 13, 2011, 6:11 PM EDT) -- A former Ohio county judge was found guilty in federal court on Monday of taking bribes in exchange for fixing a foreclosure case at the behest of a county auditor who was his political mentor.

Ex-Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Steven Terry was convicted of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud following a weeklong trial. Terry, who will be sentenced on Sept. 7, was acquitted on two additional counts of honest services mail fraud.
