FBI Agent Refutes Seeking Glory In Gabon FCPA Case

Law360, Washington (June 13, 2011, 6:04 PM EDT) -- The lead FBI agent testifying in the criminal trial of four military equipment industry executives accused of bribing Gabon officials denied suggestions under cross-examination Monday in Washington that his pursuit of the case was motivated by careerism.

"I'm not sure if I'm George Clooney, I don't think I could fill his shoes," FBI agent Christopher Forvour told a jury in response to the defense's likening of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act sting operation to a Hollywood movie starring the actor.
