Prostitution Testimony OK'd For SkyCap Fraud Trial

Law360, New York (June 15, 2011, 8:34 PM EDT) -- Questions concerning trips to prostitution venues are fair game in an upcoming trial over an alleged $140 million investment fraud scheme purportedly orchestrated by Sky Capital LLC CEO Ross H. Mandell, a New York judge ruled Wednesday.

Crotty rejected concerns raised by defendants Mandell and former Sky Capital associate Adam Harrington to prosecutors' wishes to offer evidence concerning “uncharged bad acts,” including alleged trips Mandell and brokers took with investors to adult entertainment venues in London that offered prostitution services....
