Nev. TV Anchor Accuses Station Of Discrimination

Law360, New York (June 17, 2011, 8:08 PM EDT) -- A television news anchor for an NBC affiliate in Nevada said Thursday she had sued the station, alleging she was ousted from her job because she is Indian and over the age of 40.

Sue Manteris filed the discrimination lawsuit on May 17, accusing KSNV-TV news director Robert Stoldal of refusing to renew the contracts for any of the five minority news anchors at the station since August 2009.
