High Court Won’t Review Honeywell Win On Military IP

Law360, New York (June 20, 2011, 2:51 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rebuffed L-3 Communications Corp. and Lockheed Martin Corp.’s bid to overturn a Federal Circuit ruling that Honeywell International Inc. deserved damages in a patent dispute over night vision goggles for the military.

The high court denied the defense contractors’ petition for certiorari, leaving intact a Federal Circuit decision that reversed and remanded the U.S. Court of Federal Claims' ruling in favor of the government, L-3 and Lockheed in the case.
