Italian Polymer Threatens US Market, ITC Says

Law360, New York (June 21, 2011, 4:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission determined Tuesday that lifting anti-dumping duties on an Italian polymer used to make scientific and mechanical instruments would harm the domestic market, clearing the way for the U.S. Department of Commerce to maintain the duties.

The ITC made the determination after completing a five-year sunset review, finding that revocation of the anti-dumping duty order would have a negative impact on U.S. manufacturers of granular polytetrafluoroethylene resin.
