Google Execs Snub Senate Antitrust Committee

Law360, New York (June 22, 2011, 10:07 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. has refused the Senate antitrust subcommittee's request that it send CEO Larry Page or Chairman Eric Schmidt to testify at an upcoming hearing, the subcommittee's ranking Republican member said Wednesday.

Google will not send either of the men to testify, according to Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah. The refusal comes despite a veiled threat that the subcommittee heads might subpoena the two.
