Insurer Must Defend Stucco Maker In Defect Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (June 24, 2011, 7:13 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge ruled Thursday that Great American E&S Insurance Co. is required to defend MC Products Inc. in an underlying Iowa suit accusing the company of supplying defective synthetic stucco products that caused property damage.

In granting MC Products' motion for partial summary judgment on its first amended complaint against the insurer, U.S. District Judge Cormac J.
