Consumers Drop Kraft Fat Info Class Actions

Law360, New York (June 23, 2011, 6:33 PM EDT) -- Florida consumers on Thursday dropped two putative class actions accusing Kraft Foods Global Inc. and subsidiary Oscar Mayer Foods Corp. of misleading customers about the amount of fat per serving in certain Oscar Mayer products.

U.S. District Judge James I. Cohn's orders dismissed without prejudice separate lawsuits brought by named plaintiffs Michael McDougall and Arline Rogel, respectively. The orders were based on voluntary dismissal notices filed by each plaintiff the same day.
