Apple Strikes Deal With Sanho Over Battery Patent

Law360, New York (June 24, 2011, 8:51 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. on Friday settled its infringement suit against Sanho Corp. in a California federal court, with Sanho agreeing to a permanent injunction blocking the battery maker from further infringing six patents for an external battery connector and other technology.

California-based Apple lodged its complaint in September, targeting the maker of HyperMac external batteries and car chargers. Sanho's products are designed to be used with Apple’s MacBook series and other major products, including the iPad.
