New Charges Coming In Hospital Bribery Case, Feds Say

Law360, New York (June 27, 2011, 7:37 PM EDT) -- Prosecutors told a New York federal judge on Monday that they were planning to add new charges to a case over an alleged conspiracy to bribe state officials, including state Sen. Carl Kruger, to curry favor for hospital acquisitions and other projects.

Assistant U.S. attorney Michael S. Bosworth said during a conference that the government was seeking a superseding indictment against defendants in the case, possibly by as soon as September.
