5th Circ. Sends Katrina Insurance Case To District Court

Law360, New York (June 28, 2011, 6:24 PM EDT) -- The Fifth Circuit on Tuesday said that in light of a recent decision by the Louisiana Supreme Court, it was not the venue for the state's lawsuit against dozens of insurers over the assignment of claims stemming from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and kicked the dispute back to a lower court.
