Ex-AB&C Call Center Workers Settle Suit For $1.2M

Law360, New York (June 30, 2011, 2:47 PM EDT) -- Former call center workers at AB&C Group Inc. on Monday settled for $1.2 million a class action in West Virginia alleging the company shut down its facilities without warning and failed to pay the employees proper overtime.

U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey granted final approval to the settlement, which disposes of about 530 former AB&C employees'  Worker Adjustment and Restraining Notification Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, and West Virginia state wage claims.
