Developer, Green Mountain Settle Suit Over Toxic Site

Law360, Washington (June 30, 2011, 5:16 PM EDT) -- Real estate developer Shenandoah LLC settled breach of contract claims in Vermont on Tuesday over cleanup costs of a toxic spill allegedly caused by Green Mountain Power Corp. on land Shenandoah purchased without knowing of the contamination.

U.S. District Judge J. Garvan Murtha dismissed the action, saying the parties notified him of the settlement agreement Tuesday.
