Regulators Plan To Ease Burden On Small Businesses

Law360, New York (July 7, 2011, 3:11 PM EDT) -- Federal officials told a House subcommittee on Thursday that they will review their agencies’ rules in an attempt to eliminate unnecessary burdens on small businesses governed by consumer protection, product liability, energy and media regulations.

Commissioners from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Federal Communications Commission, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Federal Trade Commission testified about their efforts before the House Energy Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
