Whistleblower Suit Against Schering To Proceed

Law360, New York (May 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appellate court has given the green light to a longstanding whistleblower suit that charges Schering-Plough Corp. with illegally firing a slew of employees in retaliation for their complaints about shady marketing practices.

On Friday, the appellate division of the Superior Court for Middlesex County ruled that four former employees of Schering-Plough's Argentinian subsidiary can proceed with most of their wrongful termination suit against the pharmaceutical giant.
