Skilling Doesn't Alter Ryan Conviction: 7th Circ.

Law360, New York (July 6, 2011, 3:09 PM EDT) -- The Seventh Circuit on Wednesday rejected former Illinois Gov. George Ryan’s bid to escape his prison sentence and stage a new corruption trial, concluding that his fraud conviction withstands the U.S. Supreme Court's holding in Skilling.
