Ex-Manager Slaps U-Store-It With Overtime Action

Law360, New York (July 6, 2011, 6:29 PM EDT) -- A former manager at U-Store-It Inc. filed a putative collective action Wednesday in Florida accusing the company of failing to pay employees overtime wages.

Brett Strong sued the Florida-based self-storage company under the Fair Labor Standards Act, claiming that as a nonexempt manager making hourly wages in Palm Beach County, he worked more than 40 hours a week multiple times without being properly paid.
