Revised Barnes Bay Disclosure Statement Wins Court OK

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Wednesday approved a revised disclosure statement filed by Barnes Bay Development Ltd., nearly a week after disgruntled creditors forced the Caribbean resort owner to overhaul the original statement.

Barnes Bay, the bankrupt owner of the Viceroy Anguilla resort, was forced to make changes to the disclosure statement explaining its Chapter 11 plan after questions were raised at a June 30 hearing over disparate treatment of similar unsecured creditors.
