Kolon Fights Commerce Results In PET Duty Review

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 6:18 PM EDT) -- Kolon Industries Inc. said Friday that the U.S. Department of Commerce erred in its preliminary determination to deny the company's request to partially revoke anti-dumping duties on polyethylene terephthalate film from South Korea.

Commerce's preliminary ruling found that Kolon had made sales at less than normal value, and was issued the same day as part of an administrative review that Kolon had requested June 30. The company claims, however, that Commerce made mistakes and is seeking amended preliminary results.
