Fed. Circ. Overturns $5M RTI Win In Syringe IP Case

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 4:09 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit on Friday reversed part of a $5 million judgment for Retractable Technologies Inc. in a suit against Becton Dickinson & Co. over three patents for retractable syringes, finding that a lower court erred in construing the term "body."
