Iowa Co. Pleads Guilty To Concrete Price-Fixing Plot

Law360, New York (July 8, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- An Iowa concrete company pled guilty Friday to conspiring to fix ready-mix concrete prices in the state, amid a broad antitrust probe into the industry in the region.

VS Holding Co. admitted to the government's accusations that it worked with another ready-mix concrete company in the area to fix rates for the construction material from early 2006 through the beginning of 2008.
