Realtor Group Asks High Court To Hear Antitrust Suit

Law360, Washington (July 11, 2011, 5:21 PM EDT) -- Realcomp II Ltd. asked the U.S. Supreme Court in late June to hear its challenge of a Federal Trade Commission finding that the realtor group violated competition law by restricting publication of certain listings within its services and other public websites.

The Michigan company's petition for writ of certiorari, filed on June 28 and obtained Monday, asks the high court to find that the pro-competitive justifications for its policy outweigh any restraints related to the policy at issue.
