Takeda, Mylan Reach Agreement Over Prevacid Generic

Law360, New York (July 11, 2011, 8:01 PM EDT) -- Mylan Inc. on Friday exited a New Jersey suit brought by Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. over a generic version of acid reflex drug Prevacid, though one of the generics maker's subsidiaries remains as a defendant.

The settlement agreement, signed by U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano, dismisses Mylan as a defendant but a unit of the drugmaker, Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc., remains in the suit.
