Labaton Sucharow Nabs SEC Atty For Whistleblower Group

Law360, New York (July 12, 2011, 1:15 PM EDT) -- Labaton Sucharow LLP announced Tuesday that it has snagged a veteran government attorney and planner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's whistleblower and cooperation programs to lead the firm's new national whistleblower representation practice from its New York office.

Jordan A. Thomas wrapped up an eight-year stint as an assistant director and assistant chief litigation counsel in the SEC's Enforcement Division in order to help Labaton Sucharow launch its new practice aimed at representing individuals who report violations of federal securities laws.
