Pastry Chef Sues Ex-Boss Claiming Harassment

Law360, New York (July 12, 2011, 8:00 PM EDT) -- A New York pastry chef on Monday slapped her former boss at a Plaza Hotel restaurant with a $50 million lawsuit for allegedly subjecting her to sexual and physical harassment in the kitchen.

In a complaint filed in New York state court in Manhattan, pastry chef Michelle Rodriguez alleged that former The Oak Room executive chef Eric Hara publicly and privately abused, demeaned, threatened and harassed Rodriguez almost every day on the job.
