SynQor Scores $16M In Extra Damages In Patent Row

Law360, New York (July 13, 2011, 9:48 PM EDT) -- SynQor Inc. said Wednesday it won $16.3 million in additional damages for sales of infringing power converters that weren't counted toward a $95 million jury award issued last year in the company's patent suit against several electronics companies.

U.S. District Court Judge T. John Ward on Monday approved SynQor's bids for supplemental damages and levied sanctions and penalties on Lineage Power Corp. and Delta Electronics Inc. for failing to disclose sales of products containing infringing converters.
