Levi's, Revise Settle Trademark Suit Over Stitching

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 4:52 PM EDT) -- Levi Strauss & Co. and Revise Clothing Inc. on Wednesday resolved a dispute in California over Revise's Vanilla Star line of jeans, which the retail giant had alleged infringed its trademark on a pocket-stitching design.

U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken dismissed the case after the parties notified her that they had settled the suit. In August, Levi's alleged that Revise's jeans infringed the so-called Arcuate trademarked stitching designs found on the pockets of its jeans.
