OpenText Buys Software Co. Global 360 For $260M

Law360, New York (July 13, 2011, 7:01 PM EDT) -- Canadian software company OpenText Corp. announced Wednesday it had acquired business management software provider Global 360 Holding Corp. for $260 million, continuing its expansion into the business process management market.

The merger will also give OpenText new capabilities in dynamic case management software, and allow the company to offer organizations "a complete spectrum of solutions from a strong, independent and global solutions provider," according to OpenText President and CEO John Shackleton.
