Plaintiffs To Refile $1B Fly Ash Suit Against Dominion

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 9:14 PM EDT) -- Lawyers for a group of Virginia residents seeking $1 billion in damages from Dominion Virginia Power for alleged exposure to coal ash said Thursday they plan to refile the lawsuit with new claims after a state judge partially dismissed the complaint.

Plaintiffs' attorneys Ted Yoakam of Yoakam & Etheridge PLC and Roy Mason of Mason & Cawood PA told Law360 that they would bring a new suit with updated claims against the power company sometime in the next six months.
