Court Dismisses Claim in MicroStrategy Suit Vs. Business Objects

Law360, New York (November 5, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Virginia rejected enterprise software maker MicroStrategy's claim that French rival Business Objects interfered with agreements between MicroStrategy and several former employees.

The court is expected to rule soon on MicroStrategy's other claim that Business Objects misappropriated its trade secrets. It has already ruled that MicroStrategy is not entitled to monetary damages.
