Ex-Dell Manager Must Repay Insider Trading Gains: Judge

Law360, New York (July 14, 2011, 6:56 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge on Tuesday ordered a former Dell Inc. manager caught up in a criminal and civil probe of expert networking firms to pay $152,000 over allegations that he distributed insider information to hedge funds and others.

Daniel L. Devore, who consented to the judgment, must return $145,750, plus about $6,000 in interest, of his ill-gotten gains. He also cannot serve as an officer or director of a publicly traded company and is enjoined from violating federal securities laws, U.S. District Judge Jed...
